The 7-pound-9-ounce, 22-inch baby girl was born at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Beverly Hills, California.
The couple, who wed in June 2005, chose the dual-gendered name, Ashby, in honor of O'Dell's late grandfather. Grace is a family name in Zubchevich's family and the couple discussed early on in their relationship that if they had a baby girl together they would include Grace in part of her name as O'Dell's parents were married at Grace United Methodist Church.
"We are beyond elated and look forward to appreciating today and every beautiful day to come with our new daughter," said O'Dell. "It is even more special given she is named after her great-grandfather and was born on my father's birthday. She made for quite a birthday present to her new grandfather. Also, I love epidurals."
This is O'Dell's fist time giving birth, but she has practice as a mother already as she has two stepsons Tyler, 11, and Carson, 8, from Zubchevich's previous marriage.

Nancy O'Dell is Expecting Baby Girl!

LOS ANGELES (April 12, 2007) -- If you're still wondering what kind of gift to get Access Hollywood's mom-to-be Nancy O'Dell, might we suggest something in pink. Nancy and husband Keith Zubchevich are expecting a girl, Nancy revealed today. "Every time I feel my baby girl moving in my belly, I think of how absolutely amazing the whole process of creating a little life is, so we know we are blessed and would have been happy with either gender. However, since we have our two wonderful boys, it will be fun to 'add sugar, spice, and everything nice' to the mix," Nancy beamed. "Plus, I will get to braid my little girl's hair...my stepsons won't let me do that to theirs!" Nancy and Keith, who met in a security line at Burbank's Bob Hope Airport, were married June 29, 2005. The couple revealed the pregnancy in December 2006. The new addition will be welcomed by two brothers, Nancy's stepsons, Tyler, 11 and Carson, 7 from Keith's previous marriage. |
